The festival kicks off on Valentine’s Day with Sydney Lunar Streets. From Thaitown to Chinatown, this street festival takes over the laneways of Haymarket with lion dances, lanterns, street food and market stalls. Discover street performances, roving entertainment, DJs and more.
On Saturday 21 February, Sydney Town Hall opens its doors for the Lunar Extravaganza. Community groups take to the stage with contemporary and traditional performances from Chinese, Thai, Korean, Japanese and Vietnamese cultures.
You’ll find lion dances and cultural performances and plenty of events, activities and special offers throughout Haymarket during Sydney Lunar Festival, 14 February to 1 March.
